My name is Heather Haroldson and I am honored to be the newly appointed CEO of the Arc of Volusia, Inc. The Arc has been serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 1962. With campuses in Daytona Beach and DeLand offering adult day treatment, pre-vocational and supported employment services, the Arc has something for everyone! Medicaid Waiver and private pay arrangements are available. I have lived in the Volusia County area since 2003. I worked at SMA Healthcare for 18 1/2 years where I served as the Senior Director of Case Management for individuals with serious mental illnesses. I am overjoyed to bring my skills and passion for human services to the Arc. We are working hard to bring our census back up from the COVID pandemic, expand services into other areas of Volusia and/or Flagler counties, and obtain new funding for additional services for our clients.
